"Wait oo, this girl no get up since morning oo, Blessing shouted immediately she entered shaking me to get up. "Easy nau, Mary said and tapped me gently. I wasn't sleeping either but soaking the pillow with tears. I sat up slowly looking at them blurry, "welcome, I managed to say to them while they kept looking at me. "Have you eaten? Mary asked. "I'm not hungry, I replied. "What! Are you gonna starve yourself for a guy who has hurt you so much?, Blessing said.
"Oh please stop, that's enuf! I shouted on her. "Enuf huh? Just look at you, you look so miserable and dejected. Get over it ok, Blessing barked. "Will you just take things easy, she loved him so much so understand that is not easy for her to let go as you think, Mary replied. "Look dear, I think you should go back to him, Mary told me. "For what? After what he has done to her? Blessing replied. "I wasn't talking to you, Mary barked on her. "Why must you tell her to do that huh? Vera is more than that ok, Blessing barked back.
Mary sighed at her and faced me, "look your heart belongs to IK and no matter how you're hurting, you can't stop loving him. Swallow your pride and meet him, I'm sure he'll have an explanation since you didn't give him a chance ok, Mary said to me. "But it was all a bet not true love, I replied slowly. "Did he treat you like an ordinary bet? If you love him this much then I believe this love is more than a bet, Mary said. "Now the question is, does he feel the same way? I asked. "My dear, you alone has the answer to that question. Sit down and think about it, but now you're going to take your bath and eat, she said seriously. "No please,... "Don't tell me that girl, she said with a stern look. I got up slowly from the bed and headed to the bathroom.

IK POV.

I never stopped trying her number and wondering where she left to. My friends tried to get close to me but I never gave them a chance, they were now my enemies. I wasn't concentrating in school anymore but parading Crutech to see if I can sight her but she wasn't there. Then I left to our favourite spot waiting and wishing that she'll just appear to me but it wasn't happening.
On the 13th I went back to crutech and asked someone about her, she told me she normally see her with that girl, (she pointed to her). I thanked her and quickly approached her. "Hello good morning, I said to her politely. "Morning, she replied. "Sorry, I'm Ikpeme by name and I heard you're Vera friend. Please can you tell me where she is? I pleaded. "Hmmmmm yes I'm Vera friend and I think you must be the bet boyfriend, she replied. I lowered my head when she said that, "I know, but can we talk somewhere please?. "I'm about having lecture, we can only sit down somewhere there, (she pointed) so I can easily attend the class, she replied. "Ok, fine let's go, I said and we walked up to the place. "So what exactly happened? She asked immediately we sat down.
"I met her in Nene birthday party and my friends insisted I should join their game stuff. I never liked her and I didn't want to do it. But one meeting changed everything, we became friends and even fell in love. I told my friends about our relationship but they never liked it and I'm sure they went ahead to tell Vera about it just to make us separate. Please I'm begging you, I really need to see her. She's my life and I love her so much, I pleaded. "Honestly speaking Vera is not good at all and I've tried my best as a friend to get her on her feet. It's so clear she was deeply in love with you and I'm happy you love her too. But the bad news is that, she left me today which I don't know where I can find her,, she dropped and I felt my life fading away. "Excuse me, my time is up, she stood up leaving me speechless.
