MY VALENTINE
Episode 3.

I stopped a taxi and dropped at the famous junction I do hear of but I've never been there. I strolled down to the gate and wondered how I'm going to trace biochemistry department and the Kejie in particular. I looked around praying I should lay my eyes on her but I reached a point I didn't know where to go so I stopped. Immediately someone pushed me, I turned to see a lady rubbing her forehead mumbling ouch... Sorry I said to her. "Why do you have to stop?, she said and almost walked away but I stopped her, "please where can I find biochemistry department?, I asked her, then she removed her hand from her forehead and I couldn't believe I was speaking to the Kejie herself. "Ask someone else, was all she could say and left me still rubbing her forehead. "What kind of rude girl is this sef?,I said to my self in anger then left immediately for my house.
I reached home, showered and had something to eat first before I called the guys. "Hey what's up, Desmond picked. "Not bad, I saw her oo, I replied. "And?, They all chorused in a way that made me laugh. "Fred, that girl fit someone like you oo because she's so rude, I said angrily. "Eh Na, that is why she must fall for you, abi she dey craze?, Fred said and I smiled a bit, "this won't be easy oo but sha I will try, I replied. Where are you now? Patrick asked. "I been go house since Jare, I said laughing. "Mad man, shey we go see this evening?, Larry asked. That one too Na question?, Fred asked, All I had to do was laugh and ended the call. I heaved a sigh and brought out my book to read for the exams I had at hand. I Later woke up and realised I slept off while I was reading, I cleaned my eyes and strolled to my friends place which I met them reading too. so I joined them and we decided to go in twos; Fred and Pat studied history and international studies, Mac and Larry studied genetics and biotechnology while I and Des studied Med. Laboratory all in unical. We all took different positions in the room reading and asking ourselves questions until we got tired. "Haba! Which kind thing, thank God e go soon finish, Fred said stretching his body while we all stood up from where we sat to the bed. "Ik you go visit your parents for Christmas? Fred asked. "Yes Na, which kind question be that sef?, I answered. "Wetin u dey wait for then? Trust this Atam(north cross riverians) people wey no dey carry their village play, if crutech just finish exams now, Na travelling bag for head straight, Fred said seriously looking at me." Ohhhhhh I said hitting my leg on the floor, "abeg Na I don tire, I murmured. "Oya comot go Ekpo abasi now, Fred said pinching me. "At 7:30pm?, I asked. "So? Is it too late? Fred asked again. "Do I even know where she stays? Or will I parade the whole junction looking for one silly, stupid and rude girl, I said in anger. "Hmmmmm I think he has a point, we can't just sent him out like that nau with no direction, Marcus spoke up. "Ok, thank your stars bcus u for comot this night, trust me Na, Fred said and I felt like jumping like a baby. I stayed a little more with them until I finally strolled back home.
The next day we met at school as usual after the exams we had, "IK, you'll be the one to go for shopping today oo, Fred Said to me. "Ok sir, I said and collected their orders with the money attached to it. We act and behave like brothers, this errand passes round among us, even Fred who is like a senior brother to us.
I went home first again and had to rest before going for the shopping. I was contemplating if I should go to spar or shoprite while driving but I agreed on spar. I parked my car outside because I don't like showing myself all that. as I was about entering, I bumped into someone and spilled the popcorn she was holding. "Oh sorry, I said to her immediately but when she raised her head, I cleaned my mouth and shouted "good for you!, I hissed and attempted to go inside but she held me back " hey! What nonsense is that huh?is that what You should have say after spilling my stuff?, she said seriously. "stuff? I asked and scoffed. "Look, if it's all about a little cheap popcorn I spilled you call stuff, I can buy a thousand of it right now for you, so spare me that! I barked back. "Stop showing yourself because I can buy a million more of it, just have manners!, she hissed and walked away. "What kind of kejie is this Na, I thought to myself and left to get the stuffs.
